Job Summary:

The HR Assistant supports day-to-day human resources operations at Paradigm’s manufacturing facility. This role provides administrative support across various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and HR systems.

Reporting Relationship:

The HR Assistant shall report directly to the HR Manager of PARADIGM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communications.
• Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes to ensure smooth integration into the company.
• Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and physical files in accordance with company policies and legal regulations.
• Help coordinate training sessions and track employee training compliance.
• Process HR documentation such as employment contracts, disciplinary actions, attendance records, and performance reviews.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees on routine HR inquiries, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and track attendance, leaves of absence, and timekeeping compliance.
• Support employee engagement programs and company-wide HR initiatives.
• Assist with compliance-related tasks such as EEO, OSHA, and labor law postings.
• Collaborate with payroll, safety, and operations teams to ensure alignment on HR-related matters.

Qualifications:

• Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and confidentiality standards.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations or safety compliance programs.
  • Experience supporting shift-based or hourly workforce.
• Eduction and Experience:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
