Job Title: Supply Chain Logistics Supervisor
Shift: Monday – Friday

You will work in a fast-paced environment where these batteries are repaired, refurbished, and repurposed.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Supply Chain Logistics Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight to our Supply Chain Logistics group. In this role, you will focus on managing inbound and outbound freight operations for our U.S. centers, external customers, and processors. Your goal will be to minimize supply chain costs while maintaining quality, reliability, and service. You’ll also support inventory management, performance improvement projects, and act as a liaison between central and regional teams to ensure seamless coordination across vendors, warehouses, and distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to the Supply Chain Logistics team.

  • Oversee team efforts, including:

    • Tracking local ordering and fulfillment requirements.

    • Monitoring in-house warehousing and storage.

    • Coordinating with third-party suppliers and transporters to schedule deliveries.

    • Managing truck planning and delivery logistics.

    • Documenting and coding products and delivery items.

    • Preparing reports on actual vs. expected deliveries and discrepancies.

  • Monitor timeliness of operations, resolving conflicting priorities and resource allocation issues.

  • Provide regular updates to management on team processes and status.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience

    • OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field + 3 years of experience

    • OR Master’s degree + 1 year of experience

    • OR Ph.D. + up to 1 year of experience

  • Proficiency in Excel (Intermediate Level)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Organizational Leadership, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • Experience in automotive industry production.

  • Strong teambuilding, collaboration, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proven supervisory and organizational skills.

  • Experience with Nextworld Inventory System is a plus.

  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Work Environment:

This role operates in both office and manufacturing floor settings. Potential hazards include proximity to moving machinery. The position may require standing, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods. Required PPE includes safety glasses, vests, hearing protection (as needed), and steel-toed footwear.
